Embarking on this enchanting trek, which commences from the charming village of Barsu, located at an altitude of 1350 meters and 32 km from Uttarkashi, takes trekkers through a journey that weaves together nature, local life, and spiritual exploration.

As the trek begins, the route passes through the picturesque Barsu village, allowing trekkers to witness the daily lives of the local inhabitants. The first campsite, Barnala Meadow, unfolds before trekkers with nomadic settlements comprising 5-6 huts. The stunning beauty of this meadow, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, beckons nature lovers to linger and soak in its tranquil ambiance. The highlight of the trek is the breathtaking Dayara Bugyal, a high-altitude alpine meadow that boasts a 360-degree view of the Himalayas, including the Bandarpunch Range.

The sight of the meadow is truly captivating, and the Dodital Lake, adorned with rare fishes and Himalayan Golden Trout, adds to the allure of this natural paradise. Yamuna Valley and Hanumanchatti mark the concluding sites of the trek, offering a fulfilling experience to trekkers as they wrap up their journey.
